I have a serious love affair with Paris. I had been twice already and every time I fall deeper in love. I know, join the club, right? We all want to claim it as our own and call it our favorite. But I genuinely think it can be all of ours at the same time, it has more than enough for everyone.
This trip was very nostalgic for me. It made me miss my family so much. It's like you never really grow out of missing your family! So Paris, for me, will forever remind me of my sisters. As Audrey, Fred and Kay sang in Funny Face "That's for me, Bonjour Paris!".
Paris in the cold was a whole new level of magical that I had never experienced before, but I really wasn't prepared for low temperatures during my "spring" break. On another note, I went on a 10 day vacation including Madrid and Paris with nothing but a backpack and a carry-on. If you know me, you know I will not leave the house without a full face of make-up and I strongly believe every day is an opportunity to dress up. And, excusez moi, it's Paris we're talking about. But I managed to fit my life in a carry-on and I'll go as far as saying there's something empowering about traveling so light! But also, no thank you.
